The Tyrolean Eagle Walk leads in 23 stages 300 km across Tirol, St. Johann in Tirol to St. Anton am Arlberg. The eagle was chosen as a symbol because the shape of the path is reminiscent of its wings and because the "king of the skies" pride and freedom embodied - as well as the proud country Tirol. The Eagle Walk starts in the middle of the Kitzbühel Alps, more precisely the Rummlerhof in St. Johann in Tirol. On the south side of the Kaisergebirge it comes on the first leg to the beautiful veil waterfalls and continue to Gaudeamushütte.
